We explore the Wandering Emporium and run into a man named Mahadi. He heads off, but let’s us know we can find him at the Infernal Rapture.
We find a place called Firesnake Forge with three Salamanders working inside. They seem to work on Infernal War Machines that may be able to help us with repairs and determining how many Soul Coins we need to refuel the machine.
They go by Rassh, Skids, and Slagg.
After a terse exchange with Pash, they go check the damage on the machine. About 5900 gold to repair the machine and 1 Soul Coin should last about 24 hours.
We take some time to check the shops.
I buy a Bag of Holding for 300g. And convince Bardon to pick up the Staff of Healing for 15,000g. I pass him 7,500g to put towards it, and Treeavenger passes him another 2,500g towards it.
We head back to the Soul Coin Exchange and buy a few Soul Coins. 100gp per Soul Coin and limit to 8 coins total.
We head to the Infernal Rapture.
We sign some deals, agreeing to pay for any services rendered or food consumed otherwise Mahadi owns our souls. Payment in Soul Coin only.
We get escorted to a private room and given some menus.
Translated with the help of Bardon

Bardon and Treeavenger partake in some food and services.
Pash and I hang back, since in search of The Red Belvedere. Mahadi swings by wondering why we didn’t partake in his services. Upon inquiring about The Red Belvedere, he offers us some wine and mentions a deal for the location of The Red Belvedere. A caravan of his is delayed, potentially lost, he offers the location returning it. Unopened.
We work out a deal. Bardon mentions a special clause, should we open the coffer, our souls are forfeit, no means of resurrection for eternity. We agree anyway. He gives us a special compass to find the location of the carravan.
We head back to the Firesnake Forge to pick up our ‘car’. And then head off in that direction, Pash popping in a Soul Coin and Treeavenger navigating with the compass Mahadi gave us.
We find the location.
The devil calls Mahadi a ‘pampered furball’ and asks us to help him unlock the coffer, which we refuse. Our souls are on the line after all…
Turn after turn. Blow after blow. We take out each of the devil’s minions, while it floats out of my and Treeavenger’s range.
We manage to take out the devils. Treeavenger teleports into the air and drives the last, large, devil towards the ground, where I finish it off. Though the coffer is thrown into the lava…

Break Time
Pash and Bardon levitate and and the Floating Disc to catch and bring it over to us.
As we bring it towards the car, Hell Wasp start to descend. We book it out of there.
We head back to the Wandering Emporium and Mahadi to deliver the goods.
We hand off the goods and he gifts us the infernal compass, now directed to The Red Belvedere.
We head out, no questions asked, to The Red Belvedere. With some travel, we reach it.
We head inside and are greeted by Windfall, the champion of Tiamat, the proprietor of the casino.
We buy some Talons from Scratch and Sniff at the counter, before heading out. Before leaving the lobby we get stopped by the Barkeep Luce.
They let us know about what we can find in each of the passages.
Kaylan Renaudon - Master of the Stygian Maze Rezran “Snake Eyes” Agrodro - Master of the Viridian Den Khai Kiroth - Master of the Scarlet Coliseum Nyssa Otellion - Master of the Cerulean Hall Uvashar - Master of the Alabaster Racetrack
We will need to obtain the favor of at least 3 of them to reach Tiamat’s chamber’s below.
Short Rest before heading into the scarlet coliseum, ultra violence being our specialty.
Doors to all other paths being open behind us. We head forward.
Khai Kiroth greets us, and tells us to head to the left to enter the coliseum bracket proper. For 15 talons each. 3 wins would grant us Tiamat’s blessing.
We enter the arena, introducing ourselves. Bardon and I making quiet the scene as a retard dwarf and an elf-with-a-gun.
Multiple gorilla like creatures appear for the first found.
I blink forward and strike a bloody blow at the vanguard. Treeavenger finishes off whatever we damage. An easy round.
We perform for the crowd before the next round begins.
We damage it significantly, Pash even getting swallowed. Pash blasts the wurm from the inside and explodes it from the inside.
I finish it off after the blast with a swift blow.
Khai Kiroth mentions a ‘her’ as we enter the final round.
Sawbones. A pair of golems. Saw. and. Bones. Engraved on each of their chests.
I rush in and bloody the one on the right, but they do significant damage regardless.
The first is slaughtered.
I finish off the last pit fiend.
We attack and attack and eventually I strike it low.
Khai Kiroth grants us the blessing of Tiamat. Marking each of us with a ‘6’ and 1000 Talons to split between us.
We head back to lobby.
