We bested Khai Kiroth, Master of the Scarlet Coliseum, and the trial within. Granting us the first boon to reach Tiamat below The Red Belvedere.

Remaining: Kaylan Renaudon - Master of the Stygian Maze Rezran “Snake Eyes” Agrodro - Master of the Viridian Den Nyssa Otellion - Master of the Cerulean Hall Uvashar - Master of the Alabaster Racetrack

We are back in the lobby area.

After a short talk with Luce, we decide to go to the Alabaster Racetrack, where Uvashar is located.

A human rushes towards us and tries to offer us an in for his deal. A way to guarantee 1000 talons. Cheating in this place seems to lead to bad-things-happening, so we decline.

We head up to the stands where several Nightmares and jockeys appear.

Pash places a bet on Retribution, who ends up coming in 4th. The man comes back to offer us the deal again.

We decide to ditch and head to the Cerulean Hall.

We make a few rounds around each section of the hall. In beginner Pash ends up blowing all of his Talons, but I win them back for us.

Eventually getting the the expert tier, where Pash talks one of the 2 out of playing. I manage to handily win.

And the Master of the hall, Nyssa Otellion, approaches me and asks me to a 1-on-1 duel. I accept.

After a seemingly near loss round, I win… or so I think. Suddenly Nyssa Otellion is ahead of me? Pash calls her out, noticing an invisible necklace of thoughts around her neck. Being used to alter the results.

For figuring out her ploy, and beating her, she grants us her approval.

We head to the Viridian Den next. Home of Rezran “Snake Eyes” Agrodro.

Games of ‘pure chance’ are found here. No skills to benefit you.

I hang back while they play a few rounds.

Pash manages to hit it big with Triple Hydra.

Bardon follows up with another big win as well.

Pash proves to be a real gambler.

Pash convinces Rezran “Snake Eyes” Agrodro to play with them. And then both Bardon and Pash manage to win against him. He grants us the last mark we need.

Though Treeavenger really wants to check out the Stygian Maze before we head to the Elite Den.

With this, we have met several dragon-like masters.

At the front desk is Kaylan Renaudon. A 20 Talon buy-in to traverse the maze. He offers us 500 Talons per Soul Coin we find in the maze. Treeavenger and Bardon head in.

While Bardon and Treeavenger are in the maze, he pulls a split sword from behind the counter and licks it.

A creature described to us by Treeavenger and Bardon:

Eventually Bardon appears back with us. Having died in the maze. However, Treeavenger manages his way through the final rooms and comes back, Soul Coins in hand.

We head back the lobby to rest before heading to the Elite Club. Treeavenger flirts with a Minotaur.

His name is Torogar Steelfist. The one Pash was looking for. Pash agrees to a fight to the death with him. The rest of us stay out of it.

Break Time

I warn Pash that Torogar Steelfist might not tell him what he wants to know — Win or lose.

Pash tries to probe his mind. And he finds some information related to Arkhan, and several other’s protecting him — Krull, Chango, and Obatala Eventually, Torogar Steelfist leaves. Leaving us knowing that Arkhan has a tower somewhere.

We take a short rest in the lobby before heading to the elite club.

We realize that the dragon statue in the center of the lobby is translucent. Acting as an elevator from the back. Windfall seems to have left the lobby at some point.

We find ourselves at the bar, headed up by Oganath. Pash and Treeavenger avail themselves of some of the services of the workers here.

After some time, we are back at the lobby. The only unexplored area is a set of double doors guarded by two pit fiends.

Bardon gets their attention by poorly performing on the stage. I grab the keys off of one guard, unlock the door, and pass back the keys to them. The rest of us slip inside while they escort out Bardon. We slip into Windfall’s chamber. Bardon uses his tattoo to pass through the walls and into the chamber with us.

Bookshelves line the walls of this room. A bed draped in plush linens is built into an alcove, across from which is a simple work desk covered in papers and books. Mounted on the back wall is the sculpted bust of a smiling red dragon.

I can’t figure out a damn thing from the room.

Pash finds a book — Tome of Leadership and Influence

We find some other documents on her desk:

The First World. Tiamat worked alongside the platinum dragon Bahamut to shape the Material Plane in the form of a single First World. An unknown cataclysm sundered this First World, resulting in the numerous universes now occupying the Material Plane.

The Ruby Dragon. While creating the First World, Bahamut and Tiamat also created Sardior, a dragon with ruby scales. Sardior was destroyed in the sundering of the First World.

The Simulacrum Project. Windfall acquired the seventh piece of the Rod of Seven Parts some time ago. She used it to create an image of Sardior, who she believes resembled a red dragon. Windfall hopes to find a way to use the rod piece to bring the image to life.

And finds a path beyond the Dragon head statue.

We end up in a deadly duel with Windfall.

We break Windfall, but she rises again. 5 voices of Tiamat echo from the room. Bardon attempts to grab the rod piece from the center of the room, but a voice echoes out, telling Windfall too chase us to the end of the multiverse. He declines to grab the piece at the voice.

Pash calls out to Tiamat to grant us audience, offering his service.

We are granted audience with Tiamat. Passing an ancient Red Dragon on the way in.

Tiamat has no love for Vecna, and offers us the Rod of Seven Parts (Seventh Piece). He makes a deal with Tiamat to kill Arkhan and bring back his body to her. Offering us a piece of the horde in return. Tiamat grants the Infernal Compass that Treeavenger carries the location of Arkhan’s Tower.

We are escorted out. Windfall passes us the final Rod Piece. Though she remains unconvinced that Pash will follow through on the deal.
